As you can expect, it is free. However, you need an account.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/freesound.png\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Freesound\"><\/p>\n<p>If you don&rsquo;t want your students to create an account, just discuss with them and download what they need.<\/p>\n<p>For this example, we are going to download the sound of church bells (I used the built-in search engine for that). Simply tap &quot;Download&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/freesound-download.png\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Freesound\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/freesound-download-1.png\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Freesound\"><\/p>\n<p>Now, your file has been downloaded. Presumably, this file is in the <strong>Files app<\/strong>. Probably in your Download folder. To fetch that file, let&rsquo;s go back to GarageBand.<\/p>\n<p>To begin with, let&rsquo;s create another track. It doesn&rsquo;t matter if it is an Audio recorder.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First, tap the <strong>Loop Browser<\/strong> button on the upper right corner.<\/li>\n<li>Then, select the middle tab <strong>Files<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Down below, tap <strong>Browse items from the Files app<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Locate and select the file you&rsquo;ve just downloaded.<\/li>\n<li>Wait a little bit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/import-sound.gif\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Import sound\"><\/p>\n<p>When the file appears in the Loop Browser, just drag and drop it wherever you want.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/drag-sound.gif\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Drag sound\"><\/p>\n<p>You will probably notice that you can create your own music using Apple loops.<\/p>\n<h3>Create music using Apple loops<\/h3>\n<p>It&rsquo;s easy to create your own Music with GarageBand.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of going to the Files tab, just tap the <strong>Apple Loops tab<\/strong>, select the one you want and do the same as mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gfYoV4G3DTw?si=WlEwTsrbDkSWYmYm\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Download Music<\/h3>\n<p>If you don&rsquo;t want to bother creating music, you can download some.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicscreen.org\">MusicScreen<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogdumoderateur.com\/musique-libre-de-droit\/\">10 sites pour trouver de la musique libre de droit<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/korben.info\/musique-libre-de-droit.html\">22 sites pour trouver de la musique Creative Commons ou libre de droit<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a Google Account and have already uploaded videos, you may have a look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.youtube.com\">audio library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Ready?<\/h3>\n<p>Everything has been recorded? You&rsquo;ve downloaded everything you needed or created the music you like? You&rsquo;ve done all the editing. Then you want to share your creation.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, tap on the file icon on the right up corner. It will bring you back to My Songs Browser.<\/p>\n<p>Tap and hold the file you want to share. Let&rsquo;s say My Song 11.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/share.png\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Share\"><\/p>\n<p>Then select Share. You&rsquo;ll notice you have three options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Song<\/li>\n<li>Ringtone<\/li>\n<li>Project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you just want someone to listen to your book, you don&rsquo;t need to share your creation as a project (nor as a ringtone obviously). So pick Song.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ralentirtravaux.com\/le_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/song.png\" width=\"700\" alt=\"Song\"><\/p>\n<p>Select the quality you want (the better the heavier). You can change some of the information (Name for instance). Then tap Share and select the app you want.
